i'd like to work toward ensuring that the wts bans pedophiles from sharing in the door to door work out of consideration for the public.

i'd like to ensure that this ban applied not just to those who have been convicted of pedophile activities but also to those who have secretly confessed to elders.

would this subject be appropriate for an e-petition?

@Diest Yes, provided they are castrated prior to going out in service.

That won't stop them just will force them to find a new way to get their jollies with kids.

I do not and never have considered myself the "head of the household" just because I'm a "MAN". My relationship with my wife is a partnership, the both of us working together to live a peaceful, happy life. Not sure what this has to do with attending meetings or not.

I have considered the "nuclear option" and decided against because it would almost certainly cripple me and my family both emotionally and financially.

To me, "just leaving" would be like waking up in the middle of the night with your house on fire and running straight out the door to wait outside and see if any of your family makes it out.

I don't like "taking the lead"

some men probably got off on the power/ego trip being a male jw gets you, but i never cared for it.

i'm an introvert, and was an especially awkward one at that haveing been reaised in social isolation, so it was about the strangest feeling in the world when as a newly-baptized teenager (back in the day) i started to pioneer.

i was about as green as you could get in every way but i was told i had to take the lead in the service meetings and the car group.

Like family trips every one gets input thay way we can all have fun. Because if it was up to me to decide alone no one would have any fun because we would go salmon, trout, swordfish, or bass fishing every year.
